That is all.
Actually, it’s not. It’s supposed to be 101 degrees here tomorrow. If we do, we will break the record for the hottest temperature in the history of Seattle since temperature these things were tracked. I’m sticky, sweaty, tired, crabby, lethargic, and miserable.
I have discovered that there are certain songs that make the heat more bearable. Call it my “Hot as Hell” playlist:
- Jennifer Hudson – “Pocketbook” (This one has one of the best refrains: “Don’t Make me Hit You wit’ my Pocketbook”)
- Otis Redding – Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay
- Lovin’ Spoonful – (What a Day for a) Daydream – Lovin’ Spoonful
- Wayne Brady –Back in the Day
- Michael Buble – Let it Snow
- Julie de Azevedo – This River
- Anthony Warlow – Moon River
- Jennifer Warnes – Cold Enough to Snow
- Jason Robert Brown – Coming Together
Also, any song that gives me chills. Any of you have good song suggestions for my “Hot as Hell” playlist? They should help to alleviate the misery of 100+ degree temps without A/C.
Also also, just prepare yourself for another heat complaint post tomorrow.
